It all begins with an hypothesis.
What’s your gut instinct about whether or not there’s life on another planet. Yes or No?
I say “Yes.” So, if I hypothesize Yes, then I become that much more aware of clues that confirm my hypothesis. If another hypothesizes “No,” they’ll be less open minded about the dots that may point in this direction.
Accumulating dots of proof, helps to build a picture that leads to more clues.
It’s exciting that so many scientists formalized an affirmative hypothesis decades ago and have silently been stashing the proof necessary for securing investment dollars to take this hypothesis to the next level – exploration in search of life on other planets.
