What’s your gut instinct about whether or not there’s life on another planet…Yes or No?
I say “Yes.” So, if I hypothesize Yes, then I’ll be that much more aware of clues that confirm this conviction. If another hypothesizes “No,” they’ll be less open minded about the dots that point in this direction.
Accumulating dots of proof, helps to build a picture that leads to more clues.
It’s exciting that so many scientists formalized an affirmative hypothesis decades ago and have silently been accumulating the proof needed to secure substantial investment dollars to take this hypothesis to the next level – exploration in search of life on other planets.
