Most secret societies have initiation rituals. Initiation rituals are considered ultra important to test and make sure a candidate will be able to:
- Keep secrets
- Handle the hardships
- Not get a big ego about being in a secret society
- Stay true to the mission
Bohemian Grove Secret Society has a “Cremation of Care” ceremony where members unburden themselves of all their urgent concerns after they’ve all gathered at their meetingcamp. This is a secret society of adult men, four of which were US presidents, others successful CEOs.
