Area 51 is real. A Top Secret Air Force base in the middle of the Nevada desert, 83 miles north-northwest of Las Vegas. Originally, it was named Homey Airport. But during the Vietnam War, the CIA referred to it as “Area 51” and it’s been called that ever since.
Additionally, it has a few nicknames: “Dreamland” and “Paradise Ranch.” Perhaps these are clues about what goes on here.
Conspiracy theories abound about the UFO’s known to frequent Area 51. Aliens have been spotted. A long list of possibilities.
The one thing that’s without question though, is that when the CIA’s involved, and with the base’s mission conveniently being labeled as “unknown,” Area 51 is indeed mysterious, and most certainly more than meets the eye.
